Founded in 1945 Alexander Binzel Schweisstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, specialised, from the start, in the development and production of inert gas shielded torches for MIG and TIG welding. Sometime later torches were introduced specifically for automated Robotic welding, and in the 1980’s our first range of market leading PLASMA cutting torches were released.
Over the last 75 years there have been many patented developments that characterise the world of welding and cutting, products that set the international benchmark.
With more than 35 subsidiaries, 20 exclusive sales partners and over 1200 employees worldwide, ABICOR BINZEL Group is represented in over 50 countries. Our production plants are located at our world HQ in Buseck Germany, as well as in Dresden (KHD Germany), together with regional manufacturing centres located in Uherské Hradiště – Mařatice (Czech), Frederick Maryland (USA) Petropolis (Brasil), Puna (India) and Changzou (China).
In 1997 the company established the brand ABICOR, as an expression of its global company strategy, centred on innovation and quality in welding.
